Giant Changes at Hungry Sam

Ok, not really GIANT changes. I was just using hyperbolese to make you interested in this post. I'm sorry.
I feel a lot better getting that off my chest.
Reasonable-sized change number one:
Hungry Sam now has a custom domain! From now until forever, www.HungrySam.com SHOULD take you right to the blog. So will HungrySam.com. Also, the original URL, www.HungrySam.blogspot.com, should redirect. I'm struggling with the mobile site, but I'll let you know when that's happening.
ANYWAYS, let me know if things aren't working right for you and I'll try to fix 'em.
Reasonable-sized change number two:
I'm still going back and forth on how to get people to read this meshugas. I'm not really sure what the heck "Google Friend Connect" does, but I like all the little faces. Also with the Facebook Like button. And the Networked blogs thing. Anyone have feedback? Input? Experience? Answers?
The point is, I've now re-added that Facebook button on the left, so, you know, you all should click it.
The other point is a plea: anyone with design experience/blogstars want to comment on my layout? It's all grown so organically that I can't really say I have any idea what I'm doing. John, Emily, Kate, I'm looking at y'all.
Reasonable-sized change number three:
I'm posting a lot more, as some of you might have noticed. I'm getting a huge uptick in readership, so I guess, from the bottom of my well-fed blogging heart, thanks for reading. Tell your friends.
The posts that people seem to read, however, are not the traditional "Here's how to make toast" posts you'd expect from a food blog. You all seem most interested in my more humor-focused food writing. So perhaps I should rebrand Hungry Sam as a "Food Comedy Blog."
I'll sleep on it.
Reader Comments (4)
TWO HUNDRED & NINETY SEVEN PEOPLE LIKE YOUR BLOG? I've been writing for FOUR YEARS & have yet to break 100. Maybe you need to teach me your ways!
I guess! I haven't had a Like button on since like May, but that's when one of my posts went NUTS because of a random assortment of good Google terms (my Falafel post has ten times as many views as any other).
So yay for Facebook Like; and boo for Google Friend Connect?
Giant change requested: change your settings and don't make commenters type in a captcha code! It is super annoying and deters me from commenting on a lot of Blogger blogs. Another reason why Wordpress is better =) I'm sure you read the comments anyway, and can delete ones that are spam (though, I've never gotten a spam comment anyway, so I doubt you would run into that problem too often). Glad you upgraded to your own domain =)
Ask and ye shall receive! NO MORE CAPTCHAS!!!
